The SEA region is getting its own time in the spotlight with the Southeast Asian Games Showcase 2025 livestream, an official part of this year's Summer Games Fest.

Southeast Asian Games Showcase 2025 will run from 3am (GMT+8) on June 8th, and will feature over 45 games from the region.

For American audiences, the showcase will be on June 7th 12PM PST and 3PM EST.

The show features support by publishers like Raw Fury, Critical Reflex, ysbryd games as well as Toge Productions and Xbox.

Region-focused events like these are a great way to pull eyes to SEA as a whole- potentially starting a global conversation about the games being made here. 

The SEA region itself has become an increasingly important space in game development- from having B2B and B2C events like gamescom asia and Thailand Game Show.

The indie scene here is strong enough to have releases at varying scales- from single-developer pushes like last year's viral success TCG Card Shop Simulator to even bigger, publisher-backed efforts like Unyielder.
