Local Malaysian studio Inverse Atelier has announced AXERAS, a tactics RPG coming to Steam.

Featuring urban combat made of infantry and vehicles, AXERAS has no release date just yet- though the developers say they're planning to release a demo for the game in April 2026. 

The game also features full Japanese voice acting, as well as hand drawn anime-style cutscenes.

As previously mentioned, AXERAS is a tactics style game- players will be controlling forces through urban environments as part of the Acorns Company in the Evestrian Civil War. 

These can range from anime girls with rocket launchers to even vehicles and tanks rampaging through housing areas. 

Said characters have their own skills and abilities, including calling down airstrikes if you really want to make a mess of things. 

However, be careful who you send into battle- similar to titles like XCOM, AXERAS also sports Permadeath, meaning even your most seasoned veterans have to move like they know they're going to die.
