Shift Up Corporation seems to be joining the bandwagon with a NIKKE Interaction Mode, though here's the catch- it's only available in Chinese.

Posted on TapTap and available now, it looks like the CN server for NIKKE is getting a NIKKE Interaction mode, with fully animated 3D models of compatible characters.

In the teaser, both Viper and Blanc are shown, being able to interact with the Commander by lying on their lap or doing a poledance routine for them.

Players will be able to complete requirements to unlock more intimate scenes and dialogue with the characters, though naturally don't expect anything too spicy.

Online, fans have expressed some displeasure that there's currently no mention of the feature coming to Global.

Unlike many other games, the Chinese release of NIKKE has several big changes- aside from some characters having less... extreme outfits, the game also features entirely new NIKKEs as well.

Why A Nikke Interaction Mode Is A Big Deal

Interaction Modes seem to be all the rage for more racy gacha games, though their setups tend to differ game from game.

More 2D heavy games like BrownDust 2 use them as 2D art with interactive elements, such as being able to pull on a characters skirt or tap different parts of a character for different voicelines.

Meanwhile, games like Girls Frontline 2 and Tower of Fantasy all seem to go for more intimate approaches, treating it as ways to get more personal first-person cutscenes with characters.
