Pokemon Masters EX has announced their annual "Palentines" event, kicking off with Valentines themed alters for Adaman and Rika. 

Available from January 29th, two characters will be putting on dashing new suits to celebrate the romantic season, with Rika and Shiny Quagsire available from today while Adaman and shiny Sylveon will be available from January 31st. 

Both banners will end on February 16th. 

While we don't know much about the stats for the upcoming units, DeNa has shared the event story- which sees both characters looking to show their gratitude to the characters who helped them through their journey in Paldea. 

Completing the event story will also unlock special art of the Valentines Day units. 

Celebrating Handsome Women With The Pokemon Masters EX Valentines Rika

Rika in particular is an interesting yet unsurprising choice for a Palentines day unit- the character has been famously popular among women in Japan, placing on the Yumejoshi Top 100 characters poll despite it usually being full of men. 

While Palentines alters usually tend to focus on cute date outfits or chefs outfits, the game has mostly stuck to Rika's more masculine style, putting her in a suit.
